44 year-old woman arrested for Sakhekile Ndudula's assassination

A 44-year-old woman is expected to appear in the East London Magistrate’s Court on Monday after she was arrested in Ntsomo in connection with the brutal murder of Sakhekile Ndudula, a senior African National Congress (ANC) official and the then Chief of Staff to the office of the MEC for Social Development in the Eastern Cape Provincial government.

Ndudula, was shot dead by unknown assailants at his home in Cambrigde West, East London, on the morning of 14 September as he was about to depart for work. Read more on this HERE.

SAPS Cambridge station commander, Brigadier Nomso Siganga has praised the investigating team for this achievement.

“I am happy with the latest developments in this case because I had full confidence in my members that they will get down to bottom of this matter,” said Siganga.
