ABSA Kirkwood Wildsfees 2015: Your chance to showcase your SPECIAL Dishes

Have you got what it takes? The Absa Kirkwood Wildsfees is hunting for stallholders who can cook up “something special” for the 2015 edition of the festival - which will run from Friday, 26 to Saturday, June 28, 2015.

“We are keeping just three spaces for those who can dish up something out of the ordinary – Greek, Turkish and Italian food with a wild twist come to mind,” says festival director, Jenni Honsbein.

Big audience

Over 50 000 people attend the annual festival, which runs from nine in the morning till late at night.

“That means the chefs have free reign to create special dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner,” she says.

Most of the food stallholders book their space a year in advance.

“Among the attractions of the festival is the food stalls, which cater for all ages and tastes. But, because we raise the bar every year, we are searching for stallholders who will add a special wild taste experience,” she says.
