Ackermann makes three changes for Cheetahs match

APRIL 24, 2015

Emirates Golden Lions coach, Johan Ackermann, has made three changes to his team who will be facing the Toyota Free State Cheetahs in their Super Rugby clash at the Emirates Airline Park in Johannesburg on Saturday afternoon.

Flank, Derick Minnie, has been ruled out of the match after injuring his knee during training this week, which required surgery. He is said to be on the side-lines for at least six months.

Luvuyiso "MB" Lusaseni will be taking Minnie’s place for this weekend’s match.

Armand van der Merwe will be starting at hooker and Ruan Dreyer has been placed at tighthead prop.

Ackermann has made one change to the backline, with Courtnall Skosan, who has recovered from injury, being placed at left wing.

The Lions are currently sitting third on the South African Conference standings and eighth on the 2015 Super Rugby log.
