Another massive drop in the petrol price

BY CHARL BOSCH - NOVEMBER 28, 2014

The Department of Energy has announced that the price of all grades of fuel will go down by between 53-69c/litre next Wednesday December 3th, due to further declining international oil prices and increasing shale oil output in North America. The latest decrease comes after oil fell to $71 a barrel on Friday, its lowest level since July 2010.

Unleaded 93 and 95, as well as LRP and ULP, is set to decrease by 695 c/litre while diesel with a 0.05% sulphur content will go down by 53 c/litre, and that with a 0.005% by 54/litre. Illuminating paraffin will fall by 49c/litre and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) by 125/kg.
