Auto box added for Isuzu KB Extended Cab

In a segment first, Isuzu South Africa has added an automatic transmission option to its KB Extended Cab bakkie.

Available only on the range topping two-wheel drive KB300 D-TEQ LX, the new five-speed auto model remains mechanically unchanged from its similar manual ratio sibling with power still coming in at 130 kW and torque at 380 N.m. Combined fuel consumption however is rated at 7.7 L/100 km (0.2 L/100 km improvement) with emissions at 204 g/km, five g/km less than the manual.

Standard spec also remains unchanged and includes a four-speaker sound system with USB, Aux and Bluetooth, climate control, 17-inch alloy wheels, cruise control, electrically adjustable folding mirrors, auto lock/unlock doors, multi-function steering wheels, chrome door handles and mirrors, ABS with EBD and BAS, dual front airbags, rear parking sensors, tie-down hooks in the loadbay and rear diff-lock.

A five year / 120 000 km warranty and five year / 90 000 km service plan is included in the R405 100 asking price.
