Baxter baffled with loss

BY NATALI IVERSON - FEBRUARY 18, 2015

Kaizer Chiefs coach, Stuart Baxter, has said he has no idea how his side lost 2-0 against SuperSport United during their ABSA Premier Soccer League (PSL) match at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Tuesday evening.

"Well, directly after the game I'm thinking I don't know how we've lost the game really,” Baxter said.

“I thought we dominated like we've never dominated a first half against SuperSport, I don't think we've ever dominated that completely."

United took the lead in the second-half of the match following goals by forward, Jeremy Brockie and midfielder, Dove Wome.

Their win sees United moving up to the sixth position on the PSL log, with Chiefs still occupying the number one spot.

After the first goal was scored, Baxter started to make changes to his team.

“We ended up playing with a lot of attacking players on the field and we created so many chances to equalise without really threatening to take one of them, and then got hit by a sucker punch at the finish but you've got to go for it … one nil, two nil, it doesn't really matter,” he added.
