Baxter proud of Chiefs

Kaizer Chiefs coach, Stuart Baxter, has said that he is proud of his team, who went back to their winning ways, after beating Moroka Swallows 3-0 in their Premier Soccer League (PSL) match at the Dobsonville Stadium on Wednesday evening.

Striker Katlego Mphela, winger, George Lebese and striker, Bernard Parker, each scored a goal for the Chiefs in a rain drenched match.

"I wouldn't have liked to come out again and say we played well but didn't score goals, we scored goals today and that's what the doctor ordered,” Baxter said.

"I was really pleased with the way the players approached the game.”

"In this circumstance where you play a dangerous opponent, you really have to work hard. Swallows were a constant threat. At one stage I was worried, at 1-0, thinking they can equalize in these conditions,” he added.

Chiefs will next be facing Amazulu at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on the 9th of April.
