MAY 27, 2015

Police in Port Elizabeth have launched a manhunt for at least five gang bangers, who fired several shots at a group of men outside a house in Bethelsdorp, Port Elizabeth on Wednesday morning, killing three.

According to SAPS spokesperson, Captain Johan Rheeder, the gunmen stopped their vehicle - a white Toyota sedan, next to the group - which was oblivious to the approaching danger.

The gunmen than jumped out and fired around 20 shots in quick succession at point blank range before fleeing the scene.

Three men, aged between 27 and 31, were killed instantly and a fourth, a 21-year old, was critically wounded.

Rheeder said local police believe the shooting was gang-related.
