Brown slammed for Ebola comment

BY CHARL BOSCH - OCTOBER 14, 2014

R&B superstar Chris Brown has come under fire on social media after suggesting the Ebola virus as a form of population control method.

In a post on his official twitter account yesterday, Brown wrote, “I don't know ... But I think this Ebola epidemic is a form of population control. **** is getting crazy bruh (sic).”

The Loyal hitmaker’s theory was met with a severe backlash from followers with one response reading, “you should probably shut the **** up and try to figure out how to make good music again. Step 1: stop trying to rap (sic).”

This was followed by another comment which read, “@chrisbrown Dumbest tweet I've read in a long time..... Bruh,” and “@chrisbrown Good thing you "sing," because you would not make if you had to use your "brain."

Another follower also took a swipe at Brown’s assault charges against then girlfriend Rihanna by tweeting, “I have a similar theory about domestic abuse MT @chrisbrown: I don't know but I think this Ebola epidemic is a form of population control”.

Following the surprise reaction to his post, Brown tweeted a short while later, “Let me shut my black ass up!” According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), some 4 024 people, mostly in West Africa, have died since the virus’ outbreak in March this year.
