Buffalo Flats cops commended for anti-drug efforts

SEPTEMBER 11, 2015

Two Constables from Buffalo Flats Police station, in East London, have been putting up a fierce fight in the struggle against drug possession. Constables Vaughan Mac Master and Damian Delaney have, from the middle of August to this month, managed to seize a total of 348 full tables of Mandrax and 17 straws of tick.

These confiscations were performed during three separate incidences while these Constables were conducting crime prevention duties.

A total of eight suspects were arrested in connection with possession of these drugs and their cases are pending in the East London Magistrate Court.

Captain Virgil Kock, the commander for the Visible Policing unit in Buffalo Flats Police station congratulated the members, “The arrests that they have made so far are a result of their diligence in working hard to arrest those who make drugs available in our community. I ask for them to continue with their good work, well done.”
