BY JESICA SLABBERT - AUGUST 17, 2016

Seemingly, casually jogging down the track at the Rio 2016 Olympics, South Africa’s golden girl, Caster Semenya, managed to snag first place in the qualifying heats for the Women’s 800m.

The win automatically qualifies her for the Semi-Finals.

Finishing at 1:59.31, Caster managed to pass runners, Ajee’ Wilson, from America and Shelayna Oskan-Clarke of Great Britain.

The Semi-Finals will be held on Friday 19 August.
