CHAMPIONS LEAGUE: Manchester United hoping for first win against Burnley
Manchester United is hoping that new signing, Angel Di Maria, who recently joined the club on a record-breaking of £59.7 million (approximately R1.1 Billion) transfer fee, will help them to win their first game of the Champions League against Burnley Football Club on Saturday at the Turf Moor Stadium in Burnley.
So far, Man U succumbed to a 2-1 defeat in their opening game against Swansea; drew 1-1 against Sunderland and had an embarrassing 4-0 loss to League One side MK Dons.
Manager Louis Van Gaal has high hopes for the game against Burnley saying that Di Maria might need patience for him to fully settle into the routine of the Man United team.
"I think he shall contribute very much in our way of playing and he is also a creative player," said Van Gaal.
"I think that he can contribute and that's very important but we don't want expect, from tomorrow that the world has changed - no. He needs to get used to the culture of the Premier League and to the philosophy of Manchester United."
However, for Saturday’s match, Shinji Kagawa will be out of the game, due to a concussion, along with Chris Smalling, Luke Shaw, Ander Herrera, Marouane Fellaini, Michael Carrick and Jesse Lingard, who will all remain on the sidelines.
