Chevrolet Warriors at Greenacres Shopping Centre
The Chevrolet Warriors will be continuing their meet and greet campaign with a signing session on Saturday 13 September at Greenacres Shopping Centre. The team will be at the Maurice Levine Centre Court from 10am to 1pm to sign autographs and meet fans. The team has just returned from Pretoria where they participated in the Softech Global Sixes and the annual Chevrolet Friendship Cup.
The Chevrolet Friendship Cup takes the form of a two day event with the Chevrolet Knights. As both teams were in Pretoria for the Softech Global Sixes and the Chevrolet head office is located in Johannesburg both teams stayed on the Highveld to contest the Friendship Cup.
After a day of racing and precision driving at Gerotech and a golf challenge, the teams played a 50 over match at Groenkloof Cricket Ground at TUKS. The Chevrolet Warriors were very competitive and after the points for all the activities were tallied the Chevrolet Warriors were awarded the Chevrolet Friendship Cup.
Fans coming along to meet the team on Saturday can also sign up for the Early Bird Season Ticket Bonanza at Greenacres and qualify for a discounted season ticket for all matches at St. George’s Park Cricket Ground. Tickets for the Early Bird Bonanza can also be purchased from the Stadium Ticket Office. This promotion will only be in place until 14 September.
