Christopher Paniyiotou now a luxury home owner

JUNE 1, 2015

Christopher Panayiotou, who is still in the St Albans prison, which he described as despicable and disgusting in his bail affidavit, has taken ownership a R2.3 million luxury home that he had bought with his murdered wife, Jayde. Christopher is accused of masterminding Jayde's murder and will know about his bail application on June 4.

The luxury home, which is located in the Lovemore Heights Estate, Port Elizabeth, reportedly has four bedrooms, four-and-a-half bathrooms and lavish entertainment areas. It was transferred to Panayiotou last week.

Ironically, Christopher and Jayde bought the house for safety. Previous owner of the luxury home, Riaan Meyer, told Rapport that Panayiotou came to view the house on three occasions – the first time with his mom, the second time on his own and the third time with Jayde and her parents, who were "ecstatic" about the new home.

Panayiotou signed the offer to purchase the house on February 22 - he is reportedly the sole owner of the home.

"Jayde's parents were so excited. They still joked around, picking a room where they would stay in," Meyer said, adding the couple were both very excited about their new home.

"She adored the place. She couldn't wait to move in," Meyer said.
