Counterfeit goods worth R23 000 seized in Cradock

Cradock police were on Monday commended for fighting crime in their area after they confiscated several counterfeit goods in the town last week.

"On the 16th of September, the Crime Prevention Unit of Cradock was on duty and searched premises in Lingelihle and in Cradock business centre, where they managed to confiscate counterfeit goods to the value of R23 000," said Eastern Cape police in a statement. 

"One suspect was arrested for being in possession of counterfeit goods and will appear in court."

The Acting Station Commander, Lt/Col Eugene Olivier applauded the members and promised that these members will work continuously to stop the dealing in counterfeit products.
