Dutywa police appeal for info after funeral parlour robbery

Police in Dutywa have opened a case of business robbery after three suspects made off with an undisclosed amount of cash from a funeral parlour on Tuesday afternoon.

In a statement, police spokesperson Captain Jackson Manatha said the employees were busy receiving payments made by clients, when one of the suspects approached them pretending to ask about the relevant procedures required to join the industry.

Manatha said the remaining two suspects, one brandishing a firearm, then arrived and closed the building doors demanding the staff to handover the money. Anyone who may have information can contact Dutywa Police on 047 489 1333 or Crime Stop 08600 10111.
