East London family denied bail

An East London family arrested this week during a R1.3 million drug bust by the Hawks, was on Thursday denied bail in the East London Magistrate's Court.

While Livingstone Napoleon, his wife, Ingrid, and their 27-year-old son, Gladwin, were denied bail by Magistrate Nazeem Joemath, a bail of R20 000 each to the couple's twin sons, Mohammad and Marvelous.

The Napoleon family was arrested in a city-wide bust by the Hawks, which netted a total of 14 people on drug-related charges.

The family members will be back in court again on the 4th of September.
