Enjoy a luxurious escape from everyday life at Sea Star Cliff
If anything, cliff-side resorts epitomise luxury, beauty and charm. Perched on the edge, guests immediately find themselves on the top of the world with a heaving ocean stretching beyond the horizon while a glorious sunrise or sunset provides the backdrop.
Sounds like your dream holiday? Then find yourself at the luxury and award-winning Sea Star Cliff, situated in De Kelders, in Gansbaai.
With equally over-the-top views of a rugged Atlantic Ocean coastline, the Walker Bay Nature Reserve and the Hermanus seashore, this exclusive guesthouse was designed, built and decorated with luxury in mind. I understand the owners were hoping to help guests escape the usual city bustle and enjoy the fresh ocean air in a lush tranquil setting – and they succeeded!
Sea Star Cliff has eight luxury suites - and each one has been elegantly decorated to suit even the most discerning tastes. These include the Sea Facing Standard room, Sea Facing Superior room, Luxury Sea Facing room, Luxury Sea Facing Family Suites and the Luxury Sea Facing Penthouse.
Every suite has a balcony or terrace, which overlooks the big blue Atlantic Ocean below, as well as a King-size bed, a bathroom with a shower or bath, air conditioning, under-floor heating, a safe, a Nespresso coffee machine, TV with satellite and a mini bar. In short, it has everything you would need for a memorable stay!
It is actually quite fortunate that every suite has access to a balcony, as Gansbaai is world famous for whale watching where you can actually spot whales splashing around in the distance, all from the privacy of your room.
Apart from their glistening pool, where you can relax and enjoy the sun, Sea Star Cliff often recommend their guests try out activities offered close-by, such as Great White Shark diving (for which Gansbaai is world-famous), helicopter tours, kayaking, golf, horse riding, river cruises and museum tours. These will keep you entertained for the day, while back at the lodge in the evenings, you can organise an in-house candle-lit dinner with wine pairing.
When it comes to service, the staff at Sea Star Cliff impress. Whether it is a friendly encounter within the lodge or while serving their delectable breakfasts and candle-lit dinners, they will always have a smile on their face and be ready to assist.
It’s no wonder the lodge has had Miss Earth South Africa and Miss South Africa 2015 among its high profile guests.
If you too seek to experience the wonders of nature in a stylish setting, look no further than Sea Star Cliff. Call them on 071 441 0119 or visit www.seastarcliff.co.za today!
