EP Kings support for the Algoa FM Boardwalk Big Walk for Cancer

The Eastern Province (EP) Kings are showing their softer side this month as they take to raising awareness for cancer.

The team will be sporting pink arm bands during their Friday match in support of those fighting cancer as well as to urge fans to join in the Algoa FM Boardwalk Big Walk for Cancer which the Kings players’ will also be participating in, on Saturday, October 25.

Team members, Siyanda Grey and Albé De Swardt tapped into their gentle side as they took time out to give three young cancer survivors, of the Igazi Foundation, the treat of an exciting tour of the players’ facilities at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium (NMBS).

The Algoa Boardwalk Big Walk for Cancer proceeds will go to the Igazi Foundation, in the hope of launching a new pediatric oncology ward in the Port Elizabeth Provincial Hospital, by the end of the year.
