EP Umpires receive boost

APRIL 28, 2016

Eastern Province Cricket and Metro Security have joined forces to boost the coffers of the Eastern Province Umpires Association with a sponsorship from Metro Security.

The sponsorship will see the EP Umpires association receiving much needed funds to grow and sustain the number of umpires standing at top level club matches throughout the metro.

“We thank Metro Security for coming on board to assist us in making sure our umpires receive funding in order to ensure more club matches have official umpires. With this sponsorship we are now in a position to better train our umpires and ensure we have more umpires available” said EP CEO Jesse Chellan.

Metro Security Director: New Business and Operations – Rowlin Adonis said “Metro Security is proud to be associated with EP Cricket and its’ Umpires Association. Our contribution to cricket in the Eastern Cape shows our support of local sport and ensures that umpires are available at club cricket matches. We hope our relationship with EP Cricket will be a long and successful one.”
