“Explore” seminar addresses creative intersections

The Eastern Cape Arts & Culture Trust (ACT) and the Department of Arts and Culture are hosting a #creativeintersections seminar in the form of a panel discussion, addressing the theme of Interdisciplinary Approaches to Community Based Projects.

NMMU’s Stained Glass Studio lecturer Anva Chiazzari is one of the organisers of event which addresses and highlights the many community based projects that are active in the Eastern Cape in an attempt to uplift, up skill and empower communities.

The panel will discuss how an interdisciplinary approach to individual or group projects can improve or enhance project delivery and outcomes.

The event which takes place on Saturday, 7 May at 11 am at the NMMU Bird Street Campus, Bambanani lecture venue in Central, Port Elizabeth, includes a questions and answers session.

A networking tea will be held after the discussion in order to facilitate the formation of new networks and the sharing of ideas.

Panellists include representatives from Cycle of Knowledge, Xpressions Sessions music therapist, Tine Joubert; Fine Arts student Amy von Witt and Jermaine Charles from CreativeX.
