First ever Valley Vibes gets supportive response from Bay music lovers

SEPTEMBER 27, 2016

The first ever Valley Vibes took place this past Saturday, 24 September in the breath-taking Baakens Valley and event organisers from Intense Events are overjoyed with the positive response that Port Elizabeth has shown towards the unique concept.

Guests were encouraged to throw down a blanket, relax and enjoy the Valley's Vibe whilst listening to live music that without a doubt appealed to a crowd of all ages.

Funny man, Roland Gasper was brought on board as the event’s official MC, whilst supporting acts included Ben Du Toit, Big Man and Bear and The Cottonfields who respectively commenced the day’s festivities. Headlining act, December Streets drew in the crowd even further with their addictive melodies and beats, whilst Nique closed the evening with some impressive DJ beats.

“We’re very happy with the outcome of the first Valley Vibes and we’re exceptionally proud of our team. We wanted to bring something fresh and different to Port Elizabeth and we did just that. We saw our vision come to life on Saturday, so we’re incredibly excited for the next Valley Vibes and for all of those to follow”, said Dylan Kotzé from Intense Events.
