Four expected in King Williams Town Court for drug dealing and stolen property

Four suspects are expected in the King Williams Town Magistrates' Court on Monday after they were bust for dealing in drugs and possession of stolen property at Selborne Crescent, King Williams Town.

According to Eastern Cape police, the arrest comes after local police received an information from the community about a house that was allegedly being used to sell drugs to the community.

"Police followed up the information they received and went to a house, upon arrival they found three males aged between 32 and 35 years and a 19 year old female.

"They searched the house and found eight boxes of small plastics that allegedly used to pack Tik, cash and twelve small plastics with Tik to the street value of R460," the police said. 

"Thorough investigation led Police to the garage where they found two bags full of clothes and seventy pairs of shoes hidden behind boxes, they asked the suspects to produce the till slips from where they bought the items.

"The suspects did not produce any till slip as proof of payment and they were immediately arrested and charged with dealing in drugs and possession of stolen property."
