Gangland Port Elizabeth: Innocent teen wounded in gang hit

An innocent Port Elizabeth teen was wounded on Thursday after he was accidentally shot in a suspected gang-related incident in the City's West End. According to local police, it appears that the intended target was a man, who was sitting in a car.

The 17-year-old, by chance was walking in the direction of the target, the a gunman, acting alone, approached from behind and opened fire. As many as 14 shots were fired - and the teenager was wounded in the back and legs.

The intended target escaped unharmed.

The gunman is still at large.
