BY CHARL BOSCH - JULY 22, 2015

The George Regional Court has postponed the case of a Wilderness karate sensei to August 17th after new allegations were added to the initial list of charges.

Local media reports that the man’s lawyer had asked for the matter to be adjourned for further discussion with his client.

The sensei, whose named is being withheld as he is yet to submit a plea, was arrested by members of the George Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit (FCS) on August 1st last year and charged with the creation and possession of child pornography, after a tip-off and subsequent investigation of his home, found pornographic material on his laptop and personal computer.

He was released the same day on R5 000 bail but had his involvement as a member of the South Africa Goju Ryu Karate Do terminated shortly after.
