Gold makes two changes for Cheetahs clash

Cell C Sharks Director of Rugby, Gary Gold, has named his team who will be facing the Toyota Free State Cheetahs in their crucial Currie Cup match at the Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein on Saturday afternoon.

The 48-year-old coach made two changes to the team who defeated the Griquas 45-20 at the Griekwa Park in Kimberly last week.

Wandile Mjekevu who played at fullback last week, will be sitting on the sidelines with an ankle injury.

Garth April will be starting at fullback this week, with Odwa Ndungane moving to the right wing.

This is a crucial match for both the Sharks and Cheetahs, as it is the final round-robin match for both teams. The winner of this weekend’s match will be taking on the Emirates Golden Lions in the semi-finals at the Ellis Park Stadium.
