HOME COMFORT AND VEHICLE SECURITY: Mr Tint specialises in Solar Film and Anti-Smash-And-Grab Window-Tints

BY LIANDè BARNARD - SEPTEMBER 5, 2014

In a blistering climate that is South Africa; solar film (window tinting) can increase the comfort level in a home or vehicle by drastically reducing the inside temperatures. Needless to say, smash-and-grab safety film has also lately become a necessity for every car owner – which is where Mr Tint comes in.

Mr Tint, situated at 72 Newton Street, Newton Park, is in fact one of the very first workshops to do tinting in PE and is run by the husband and wife team of Marc and Tracy Harris who manage a team of friendly and efficient staff.

This year, Mr Tint will be marking 30 years of offering professional technical services to motor vehicles, homes and businesses in Port Elizabeth and as far away as St Francis Bay, Jeffreys Bay, Port Alfred, Grahamstown and Uitenhage.

“We are a well-established and trusted company offering both excellent and unrivalled, warm and professional service to all our clients,” said Tracy.  For your added peace of mind, the company is also fully-insured.

Mr Tint uses high quality film and have specialised technicians who are able to fit your vehicle with normal tint or smash-and-grab protection that is three times thicker than a normal tint.

Marc said they have a high level of quality control whereby they check all vehicles when they arrive and leave their workshop. “Our customers are important to us and so we have controls in place to ensure that their vehicles are in good hands,” he explained.

You would expect to be charged an arm and a leg for the level of work that they do at Mr Tint, but we found their pricing very reasonable. Their Newton Park workshop is open Monday to Saturday throughout the year.  Bookings are essential.
