Humansdorp police offer reward for information in unsolved 2013 murder

Humansdorp police are offering a reward of up to R10 000 to any person that can provide information to help solve a murder case that occurred more than two years ago.

"On 6 November 2013, the deceased, Sakhumzi Mtati was found lying on the ground by his friend behind a house.  People, who presumed him to be asleep, took him inside the house," the police said.

"The following day, a friend on seeing that Mtati was not waking up, phoned for the ambulance that took him to hospital.

"Mtati was later declared dead on 16 November 2013 and the post mortem determined that he died of a blunt force head injury."
