Jeffreys Bay tourist offers reward after losing valuables to thieves

A reward of R1 500 has been offered after a tourist was robbed in Jeffreys Bay. The visitor is reportedly among the victims of a string of breakins and robberies that have been reported in the town's beachfront area over the past few days.

She lost jewellery and other items in the Pepper Street area and has offered the reward for the return of her jewellery, which is of sentimental value to her.

“Amongst other silver rings and a silver cross that were stolen, there are three unusual silver/marcasite rings. I am offering a R1 500 reward for the return of the jewellery,” the woman, told local news blog, JBay News.

Visitors to the town are advised to always be aware and to report crime to the Jeffreys Bay Police Station.
