Joubertina police appeal for public help after merino sheep stolen

Joubertina SAPS on Wednesday appealed for to the public for information that could lead to the arrest of the suspect(s), after 15 merino sheep were reportedly stolen from Tierkloof farm, in Joubertina, a week ago.

According to Sergeant Majola Nkohli; "On Wednesday, 24 February, a farm owner reported a case of stock theft after he alleged that 15 merino sheep were missing from a grazing compound. 

"A compound fence had no perforations and its gate was locked."

Nkohli said that the stolen stock had tattoo marks on the right ear. 

"Anyone who has an information that could assist police with their investigation is urged to contact an investigating officer, Constable Shaun Smit at 042 200 7000 or 072 720 2244."
