OCTOBER 26, 2016

Water supply to a large part of Nelson Mandela Bay will be disrupted on Thursday, between 09:00 and 16:00, to effect emergency repairs to a leaking water main – 450 mm in diameter pipe – in Gxilishe Street, the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality has advised residents.

"Parts of Algoa Park, KwaZakhele, Zwide, Soweto-on-Sea, Veeplaas, Booysens Park, Chatty, Marikana, Faku Village, KwaMaxaki, Redhouse, Missionvale, Govan Mbeki and Kleinskool will be affected.

"These areas comprise Wards 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31 and 33," the municipality described.

"We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused due to this unforeseen disruption of supply.
