Momentum One Day International comes to PE this Sunday

After an incredible record breaking game in Johannesburg on Sunday the Protea Fire is set to hit Port Elizabeth on Sunday 25th January.  The teams are expected in Port Elizabeth on Thursday after the 3rd ODI taking place in East London on Wednesday.

At this stage weather indications are an overcast cloudy day but no rain is forecast. The washed out Sunfoil Test Match last month robbed cricket fans of seeing the Proteas in action in Port Elizabeth and EP Cricket are hoping that cricket lovers across the Metro will come out and support the Proteas at St George’s ahead of their trip to the World Cup next month.

Music fans will also get the opportunity to meet and greet one of SA’s most loved bands Freshlyground at the cricket on Sunday.  The band who are in Port Elizabeth for a once-off concert on Sunday night at McArthur Pools have delighted fans across the world with their unique sound.  Tickets for their show are available from Computicket at R100 or will be available at the door for the same price. VIP tickets are also available at R180 and these can be purchased directly from Michelle Campbell on 0729973123.

Cricket lovers attending the concert will be given a R30 discount at the door, when they produce their cricket ticket. Doors open at 5pm and the main act will be on stage around 7pm.

Ticket prices for the match at St George’s are as follows:

Scholars / Pensioners                   R120

Adults                                             R160

Reserved seats                              R210-R240

Please note that on match day when purchasing a reserved seat ticket at the stadium ticket office, the system will automatically select the best seat available at the time, and spectators will not be able to select their desired seat.

The ticket office at St George’s is open weekdays from 08:30-16:00 and will be open on Saturday 24th January from 09:00-16:00.
