Nelson Mandela Bay dams down to 70.15%

The five major storage dams supplying Nelson Mandela Bay were at a combined 70.15% of capacity when the latest reading was taken yesterday.

This is down from the combined 70.98% of capacity when the previous reading was taken on February 10.

Yesterday’s figures show that the largest dam, the Kouga, was at 77.38%, down from 78,74%, while the second largest, the Impofu was at 62.91% (63.59%).

The Churchill was at 55.48% (56.3%, the Groendal remained at 100% while the Loerie was at 78.98% (72.1%). – MetroMinutes
