New Toyota Hilux images leaked

BY CHARL BOSCH - FEBRUARY 4, 2015

A front-and rear end shot of what appears to be the new Toyota Hilux has been leaked online. The all new version of South Africa’s best-selling new vehicle is expected to debut later this year or in early 2016 to replace the current model which has been on sale since 2004.

Featuring styling cues, from the recently launched North American market Tacoma, the Hilux sports a more aggressive appearance with sleeker headlights and a more pronounced grille. Although no technical details have yet been released, Australia’s caradvice.com.au reports that Toyota is reportedly working on a new turbo diesel engine to replace its popular but aged and underpowered 3.0 D4-D four cylinder.

More information is expected to be released closer to its official launch.
