Ngqamakhwe police recover stolen computers worth R50 000

Ngqamakhwe police in the former Transkei have confirmed the recovery of ten computers and nine central processing units (CPU) stolen from the Lundi Junior Secondary School in Hlobo Village on September 24th.

In a statement, police spokesperson Captain Jackson Manatha said police received a tip-off that the computers were hidden at a homestead in Hlobo Village, where after a follow-up, police found the items worth estimated R50 000.

No arrests have yet been made although a case of house breaking has been opened.
