Origi wants to return to Liverpool

Belgium international forward, Divock Origi, has said that he will be happy to move to Liverpool, during the January transfer window, if his stay at Lille OSC is cut short.

Origi joined the Red’s on a £10 million deal after the Soccer World Cup in Brazil, but has been on loan to Lille since July.

"It is not me who makes the decisions but if the club choose to let me go in January, I would join Liverpool," Origi said.

"I said that I would stay for the whole season and I wish to remain honourable to that, of course. But if there was a decision by the clubs, I would not say that I would not like to go to Liverpool in January.

"I would love to move to Liverpool sooner rather than later. I can't wait to be playing in the Premier League because I can now see that it will suit me better. I think there are good things waiting for me with Liverpool."

Origi’s transfer to Anfield could help the struggling side who have been without star forward, Daniel Sturridge, since August due to a thigh muscle injury, while fellow forward Mario Balotelli had shown poor form since his £16 million singing in August.
