Parks whitewash Born Fighters, all Grand Challenge club rugby results

Parks Rugby Club showed that they are certain Grand Challenge title contenders when they thrashed Born Fighters in a 69-0 whitewashing at Londt Park on Saturday.

This, after consecutive wins against United Barbarians 19-3 the previous week and a 35-13 beating over NMMU the week before that, with their solitude loss coming against PE Harlequins in the beginning of April when they went down 40-33.

NMMU have also heeded some momentous form, with their single loss so far going against the aforementioned Parks, but have since, produced some polished performances, beating Springrose 42-15 two weeks ago, before beating PE Police 37-7 on Saturday.

Despatch maintained their unbeaten run in the Grand Challenge when they beat the Super 12 fourth-placers, Progress 28-15.

The aforementioned three clubs so far, are well-positioned prospects for the league, but still noting that the season is long ahead, with the quarter-finals only taking play in July.
