Patensie police offer R10 000 reward for suspects in unsolved January 2016 murder

Patensie detectives are offering a reward of up to R10 000 for information, which may lead to the arrest and successful prosecution of the suspect(s) involved in the murder that took place at Oorlogs Poort Farm in Patensie on Saturday, 23 January 2016.

According to police spokesperson, Lieutenant Gerda Swart; "It is alleged that 68-year-old Ivy Hobbs was alone at her home, when she was attacked and stabbed by unknown perpetrator/s.

"Her family discovered her body at 22:45, the same evening, with multiple stab wounds to the chest and arms. The suspect(s) is not yet been arrested and the community is urged to assist with information that can lead to the successful arrest of the perpetrator(s)."
