Pirates should not underestimate Chippa - Myeni
Orlando Pirates midfielder, Sifiso Myeni, has said that his team should not underestimate Chippa United, when they clash in their Premier Soccer League (PSL) match at the Orlando Stadium this evening.
Myeni said that the Chilli Boys will be difficult to beat, as they have nothing to lose, having not won a single game in their last nine matches.
"Chippa will be tougher than Chiefs. We cannot take them for granted. They are struggling to get their first win of 2015 and will want to catch us with our guard down after a hard Derby, but we had a recovery day on Sunday and will be ready for Chippa," Myeni said.
Pirate’s midfielder, Oupa Manyisa, added that the team is currently very motivated to get back on their winning streak, and said that they will be aiming for maximum points against Chippa.
"We want to win against Chippa," Manyisa said.
"We will do our best to regain our winning form. We have dropped four points in two games and that's not good for us. We have to start winning again and we have to start against Chippa,” he added.
Manyisa said that he understands that the Chilli Boys will be gunning for the three points, however, Pirates will play their best in order to move up on the log.
"They (Chippa) also obviously want the three points but they have come at a wrong time when we need the points badly," added Manyisa.
