Platinum Stars and Bloemfontein Celtic in 0-0 draw
Platinum Stars and Bloemfontein Celtic drew 0-0 in their ABSA Premiership match at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium Phokeng on Sunday.
Platinum Stars were looking to bounce back after their loss against the Kaizer Chiefs last week.
Both teams pushed for victory during the first 45 minutes of the game; however neither side could find the breakthrough for a goal.
The game fell into a dull moment after the exciting start when Platinum Stars strikerLucky Nguzana tried to score from long range in the first two minutes; however goalkeeper Patrick Tignyemb was well prepared in saving the goal.
A strong fight from both teams saw a draw of 0-0, with strong defenses. The chances of goals were small and the possession of the ball could not stick with one team for very long periods.
The Platinum Stars will now be facing Supersport United on 13 of September while Bloemfontein Celtic will be playing against the Mamelodi Sundowns on Sunday 14 of September.
