Police appeal for information following business robbery in Motherwell

Police in Motherwell, Port Elizabeth, have launched investigations after a business robbery at Boxer Superstores at Ngonyama street, NU1, Motherwell.

"It is alleged that two unknown male entered the shop and went straight to the shop's Kiosk [Ciggaratte counter]," said police spokesperson, Constable Mncedi Mbombo.

"One drew a firearm and they demanded money.

"They took undisclosed amount of cash from the Tills and they took some tobbacco."

He said that no shots were fired during the robbery and there were no injuries.

"The suspects fled the scene with a Mazda with a GP number plate.

"No arrest have been made," said Constable Mbombo.

"Anyone with the information that can help the police to arrest the suspects can visit Ikamvelihle Detectives."
