Police appeal for public help in recovering 36 Friesland calves stolen from Kareedouw

JANUARY 28, 2016

The SAPS' Stock Theft Unit in Jeffreys Bay is appealing to the community to assist them with information that could lead to the recovery of 36 Friesland calves that were stolen in the Kareedouw area early in January.

"It is alleged that the calves, which are only six months-old, were stolen out of their grazing camp between Friday, 8 January 2016 and Saturday, 16 January 2016, from the farm Klipdrift near Kareedouw," the police said.

"They are brown and black in colour and worth more than R54 000."

Anyone with information on the calves or the identity of the suspects is urged to contact Sergeant Jimmy Maya, from the Jeffreys Bay Stock Theft Unit, on 042 200 7000 or 072 720 1895 or Crime Stop 08600 10111.
