Police investigating armed business robbery in KwaNobuhle

Police in KwaNobuhle have launched investigations after three armed men robbed a shop on the corner of Bucwa and Relu Avenue, KwaNobuhle, in Uitenhage, on Saturday evening.

According to the police, the suspects threatened the shop owner and demanded money.

“The suspects took undisclosed amount of cash, airtime and cigarettes, and fled the scene on foot,” said police spokesperson, Captain Gerda Swart.

Police have since appealed to local residents, who might have knowledge of the suspects, to come forward and assist in their investigation.

“Anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects is urged to contact crime stop or the nearest police station,” said Captain Swart.
