Police looking for parents of dumped baby

Ntabankulu Saps on Thursday appealed to the members of the public to assist in locating the parents and/or relatives of a baby girl, believed to be between three to four months-old. The baby was found by a passer-by dumped between the Home Affairs and Ntabankulu Clinic premises last week Friday evening.

"Next to the baby was a bag containing a towel, baby food and a feeding bottle. The baby is in a good state of health, happy and strong and has since been cared for by Social Workers at Maluti Place of Safety," the police said.   

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of the baby girl’s parents or relatives is requested to contact Captain Mlungisi Matidane, the Communication Officer of the Mount Ayliff Cluster, on 079 496 3344 / 073 184 7886 or Crime Stop 08600 10111 or  SMS the information to Crime Line no 32211.
