Police Minister Nathi Nhleko expected in Port Elizabeth

Police Minister, Nathi Nhleko, is expected to visit the Adcock and Elizabeth Stuurman Old Age Home in Schauderville, Port Elizabeth, on Wednesday during a National Police Day celebration and Community Outreach event.

Minister Nhleko will be accompanied by the acting National Commissioner of the South African Police Service (SAPS), Lieutenant General JK Phahlane, and other senior police officials.

According to a statement from the Eastern Cape police, 27 January is an iconic day on the police calendar as the SAPS annually celebrates its establishment and aim to assist in fostering better relations between the community and the police.
