Police nab three in R930 000 N2 dagga bust

Police in the Garden Route have confirmed the arrests of three suspects in connection with a drugs bust on the N2 between George and Wilderness.

According to reports, police, responding to tip-off, pulled over a white Freightliner with Cape Town registration late last night, whereby a closer inspection found 13 bags of dagga worth R930 000 stored in the load bay. It has been reported that the drugs were destined for George having been transported from Port Elizabeth.

The suspects, aged 29, 30 and 40 are expected to appear in the George Magistrate's Court tomorrow.
