Police recover murder victim's body from Magwa falls, Lusikisiki

The South African Police Services' K9 Search and Rescue team in Lusikisiki on Tuesday recovered the body of a person believed to have been murdered by being thrown over a cliff at Magwa falls, Lusikisiki.

According to the police, the team had to use different rope techniques under extremely difficult circumstances and conditions to reach the body, which they located about 100 meters down the cliff, and hoisted it up.

The body has since been handed over to the Investigating Officer for determination of death as well as for building the police's case.

The police did not supply any further information about this case.
