Port Elizabeth Flying Squad arrest duo for drug dealing

Port Elizabeth Flying Squad members on Sunday afternoon arrested two suspects, aged 21 and 23 years, for dealing in drugs in the Bethelsdorp area.

According to the police, mandrax, tik and dagga, with an estimated street value of R3 515 and R6 900 cash were seized.

The suspects appeared in court on Monday.

Meanwhile, around 184 suspects were arrested by Uitenhage police for various offenses in crime prevention operations that were conducted over the past weekend.

"Police in the Uitenhage Cluster will continue to combat crime effectively in the Uitenhage Cluster," police said.

"The South African Police Service appeal to the community to work with the SAPS in reducing crime by providing valuable information that will lead to the arrest of suspects, the tracing of illegal firearms and the recovery of stolen property.
