Port Elizabeth police find drugs worth over R400 000 in KwaZakhele

A suspected drug dealer is expected in court soon after he was busted by the Port Elizabeth K9 Unit with drugs worth over R400 000 over the weekend.

According to Port Elizabeth police, on Sunday, members of the PE K9 Unit and KwaZakhele CPU followed up on information on drugs at Zinyoka location.

"A Police drug dog was utilised and 5497 mandrax tablets were found with a street value of R439 760," police said.

"One suspect was arrested for the possession of drugs and detained at SAPS KwaDwesi."
