Premier Masualle visits East London communities (audio snippets)

JULY 10, 2015

On Friday, Eastern Cape Premier, Phumulo Masualle, together with Members of the Executive Council, will engage with various communities in and around Buffalo City Municipality. Yesterday, they also met with stakeholders from the municipality at the East London ICC, as part of the EXCO Outreach programme.

The EXCO Outreach is Provincial Government's initiative to interact with stakeholders and communities - in attempts to give feedback on the work of Government, hear from communities where Government is falling short and identifying solutions as a way forward.

In an effort to interact with communities on service delivery matters, Eastern Cape MEC for Human Settlements, Helen Sauls-August, is expected to conduct a household visit in Reeston, in East London.

The visit comes when Reeston, which is a project developed by government, is now beset with complaints of illegal occupation and improper use of subsidy houses.
